‘Attack on Titan’ Sets the Release Date to Series Finale

Attack on Titan fans are in for a treat. The series has finally released the set date of November 4th for the finale of the popular shonen anime. Fans have been hanging on for dear life as the final season was broken up into three parts. But the waiting has paid off, as now fans have a concrete answer to when they will be getting their long-awaited finale brought to their screens.

Attack on Titan has been running since 2013, following the publication of the manga of the same name that debuted in 2009 and wrapped up in 2021.  It centers around a small town’s experience as man-eating Titans try to break into their safe zone. Although they use massive walls to protect their home, one Titan is able to break through and lead several other Titans into the so-called “safe” town. One soldier named Eren witnesses his other being attacked and eaten by a Titan and makes a vow to kill every one of the murderous beasts.

For a while the general timeframe for the finale’s release was within the range of Fall 2023, but this is the first time the show has a definite answer as to when the series is going to end. In a tweet sent out by AttackOnTitanWiki, the release date was revealed to fans. The tweet shows  a photo of an animated house, with the caption reading “[BREAKING NEWS] Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 3 (Part 2) scheduled for November 4th release.”

Fans were not very happy with Attack on Titan’s previous season’s irregular release schedule throughout the last season. Season four began streaming in December of 2020, and it was not publicly known until after the release that the finale would be split up into several parts. But, although the highly anticipated finale is broken up into parts, the first part of the finale was an hour-long spectacle, so fans should be ready for a massive and unforgettable final episode to the series.

Attack on Titan’s finale will be released on November 4th, 2023 on Crunchyroll.
