Craig Ferguson and Drew Carey will host special April Fool’s Day editions of The Price is Right and The Late Late Show.
The Late Late Show hosted by Drew Carey airs on Thursday, April 1 at 12:37 AM ET/PT while The Price is Right hosted by Craig Ferguson airs the same day at 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon ET; 10:00-11:00 AM, PT on CBS.
Carey and Ferguson made the announcement on the March 17 episode of The Late Late Show.
“Hey, Craig Ferguson and I, for April Fools,’ are switching jobs. He’s going to host The Price is Right and I’m gonna host The Late Late Show,” said Carey. Ferguson added, “Now this is for April Fools,’ so don’t tell anyone!”
Carey will have the opportunity to interview comedy legend Carl Reiner, Pulitzer Prize-winning writer and Clevelander Connie Schultz and musical guest Joan Jett will perform “Any Weather” with The Blackhearts. Also joining Carey from The Price is Right studio is announcer George Gray, models Rachel Reynolds, Amber Lancaster and Manuela Arbeláez.
Ferguson will become the fourth person to host the classic TV game show. His robot skeleton sidekick, Geoff Peterson, and pantomime house, Secretariat will join him as models on The Price is Right.
The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson airs on CBS at 12:37 AM ET/PT. It is executive produced by Peter Lassally. The Price is Right hosted by Drew Carey airs at 11 AM ET; 10 AM PT. The Price is Right is executive produced by Mike Richards and Jennifer Mullin.
