Apple TV’s Original Series ‘Shrinking’ Sets Date For Third Season Along With First-Look Images

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Apple TV has revealed return date for their  Shrinking, along with first-look images for the third season. The third season of the Apple TV original will air on  January 28, 2026, with an hour episode. The new season will include 11 episodes, which will then be released weekly on Wednesdays until the April 8 finale.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, the cast of the series includes Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, How I Met Your Mother), as Jimmy, Harrison Ford (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Captain America: Brave New World) as Paul, Christa Miller (The Drew Carey Show, The Andromeda Strain) as Liz, Jessica Williams (2 Dope Queens, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore) as Gaby, Luke Tennie (Deadly Class, Nickel Boys) as Sean, Michael Urie (The Decoy Bride, Beverly Hills Chihuahua) as Brian, Lukita Maxwell (Lucky Fish, An Autumn Summer) as Alice and Ted McGinley (Revenge of the Nerds, The Engagement Plan) as Derek.

According to The Hollywood ReporterShrinking is an original series by Apple TV+ that follows Jimmy’s grieving therapist, who starts to break the rules by telling his clients exactly what he is thinking, ignoring his training and ethics. In the first two seasons, he found himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives, including his own. The second season concluded with Jimmy saving the life of the man who killed his wife in a drunk driving accident.

“This show wouldn’t have worked this year had Brett Goldstein (Ted Lasso, All of You) … not felt completely authentic and hadn’t crushed you,” Lawrence told The Hollywood Reporter in a chat after the season two finale. “If the season’s about forgiveness, that the simple act of doing it can save you. It can save someone else.”

As per The Hollywood Reporter, guest stars Goldstein, along with Damon Wayans Jr (Let’s Be Cops, New Girl)., Wendie Malick (Young Sheldon, Just Shoot Me!) and Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Father, Safe Haven), as well as new additions Jeff Daniels (A Man in Full, The Newsroom) and Michael J. Fox (Family Ties, Back to the Future), return and join the cast of the new season.
