In Marvel’s most recent addition to their Multiverse Saga, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor David Dastmalchian (The Suicide Squad, Oppenheimer, Dune) who plays the minor role but major comic relief character Veb, a gelatinous sub-atomic creature who is quite polite but has a large number of uncovered skill and abilities wishes to continue his work with Marvel.

In an exclusive interview with ScreenRant, Dastmalchian states his intentions on his continued voice-over work with Marvel Studios. When asked “You reprised your role as Kurt in Zombies What If…?, last year. Any chance we can see you in season two of What If…? either as Kurt or Veb?” David Dastmalchian responds, “That is a question for Mr. Brad Winderbaum. I’m going to go ahead and use this article as an opportunity to ring Brad’s doorbell and say, “Hello. Who else do we need exploring with their holes? Because Veb is very curious, and he’s got a song. Did you know Veb has a song? It’s on YouTube right now. If you listen to the Quantumania soundtrack, I believe it’s Track 22. It’s the last track of the whole album. But Veb could maybe become a performer in a nightclub somewhere. Who knows?”.

Giving a very cryptic response with little information about his actual involvement in future projects as most Marvel actors are instructed to do in order to limit spoilers, Dastmalchian does show his enthusiasm for the role and is likely to return again whether it be Veb or Kurt.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was the kickoff to Phase five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it wasn’t Dastmalchian’s first role with the massive comic book company. Dastmalchian received a credit in the fifth episode of What If…?, entitled What If…. Zombies playing the role of Kurt Goreshter, a non-gelatinous friend of Scott Lang (citizen alias of Ant-Man) who worked as the team’s hacker on varying heists when the zombie virus is released from the Quantum Realm by patient zero, Janet Van Dyme. The world falls into a zombie outbreak who would eventually defeat earth’s mightiest heroes. Kurt teams up with remaining super survivors like Spider-Man, The Winter Soldier, and The Hulk to try and find a cure in the hidden city of Wakanda. Unfortunately Kurt was eventually killed like many others by a zombified Scarlet Witch.

It seems that Dastmalchian has a bright future with the ever popular superhero company. While he hopes to continue his work with the studio, fans wonder when they will hear or see the actor in another film. It’s possible he could become a larger role like Taika Waititi’s (Thor: Ragnarok, JoJo Rabbit, What We Do in the Shadows) comic relief side character Korg, who has been showcased across the cinematic universe.
