‘American Horror Story: Double Feature’ Adds Neal McDonough as Filming Continues

In a late addition, Neal McDonough (Suits) has been added to the cast of American Horror Story season ten. Via Deadline, the veteran actor, who has currently been lending his skills to the critically acclaimed Paramount Network series, Yellowstone, will begin his rookie season on the anthology program.

Ryan Murphy’s (Glee) long-running horror show was one of many shows to be delayed heavily by the pandemic. The anthology series is known for its fall run, allowing it the chance to air new episodes every year in the wind-up of Halloween. The new season was on track for the same run when the pandemic stopped production.

When restrictions on filming began to open again, American Horror Story season ten, titled American Horror Story: Double Feature, was ready to get back on track. The new cast is fraught with talent, as famous veterans Sarah Paulson (Ratched), Evan Peters (X-Men Apocalypse), and Lily Rabe (The Undoing) are all set to return. Also, the new and very much welcomed addition of Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone) to the cast will add a new flare to the group.

Now, as filming continues, creator Ryan Murphy has decided more talent was needed to round out the crew. So, in comes Neal McDonough to play Dwight “Ike” Eisenhower. It is unconfirmed if he will be playing the 34th president of the United States so fans will have to wait and see. It will be an interesting role, just as a multitude of others were on the quirky show.

American Horror Story: Double Feature is set to premiere Wednesday, August 25th on FX with the show streaming on Hulu the next day.
