According to an AMC Network press release, AMC will return to the New York Comic Con and feature live panels on October 18 for The Walking Dead: Dead City and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book Of Carol.
Fans can expect teasers and first-look scenes of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book Of Carol, which will return on screen on September 29 on AMC+ and another spinoff, The Walking Dead: Dead City season two, which is scheduled for next year.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book Of Carol panel will be at the Main Stage on Friday, October 18 from 7 to 8 p.m.
The show keeps up with Daryl Dixon, played by Norman Reedus (The Bikeriders, Blade 2), and Carol Peletier, played by Melissa McBride (The Mist, Pirates of Silicon Valley). The recent season starts where the season one’s finale ends when the two come to terms with the past as Daryl battles with the choice between leaving or staying in France, and Carol struggles to stumble upon a friend of hers. Moreover, antagonist Genet, played by Anne Charrier (Chefs, Marjorie), sets Pouvoir on a dangerous path alongside the Union of Hope in the battle for France’s future.
The panelists are Reedus, McBride, Chief Content Officer of the Walking Dead Universe Scott M. Gimple (Fillmore!, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance), showrunner David Zabel (Betrayal!. Mercy Street), director and executive producer Dan Percival (The Hot Zone, Leonardo), director and executive producer Greg Nicotero (Fallout, Werewolf by Night) and cast member Louis Puech Scigliuzzi (Show Me More).

The Walking Dead: Dead City panel will be on Friday, October 18, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the Main Stage.
The Walking Dead: Dead City follows Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Supernatural, Grey’s Anatomy) as Negan and Lauren Cohan (The Boy, Mile 22) as Maggie, traveling to Manhattan in an apocalyptic setting. Season two deals with a war deciding who will control Manhattan, a city filled with Walkers and people who make Manhattan a dangerous place. Maggie and Negan are on opposing sides, and any way out of their situation leads them to danger.
The panelists include Cohan, Gimple, showrunner Eli Jorne (Wilfred, Bye Bye Benjamin), with cast members Dascha Polanco (Orange Is The New Black, In The Heights) and Gaius Charles (Alice, Friday Night Lights).
Along with the panels for The Walking Dead’s spin-off series, there will also be a special advanced screening for the season two debut of Anne Rice’s (The Young Messiah, Interview With The Vampire) Mayfair Witches and panel on October 17. There will also be a panel and premiere of DanMachi-Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in Dungeon? for its season five, scheduled for October 19.
