AMC has just announced when Los Pollos Hermano’s Gus Fring will be making his sinister return to television.
At the TCAs the cabler revealed premiere dates for Better Call Saul‘s third season, Into the Badlands second season, and The Son‘s debut season, Variety reports.
Season 3 of Breaking Bad spinoff series Better Call Saul is scheduled to premiere Monday, April 10th at 10 pm. The upcoming season recently became even more anticipated with the reveal of the return of Giancarlo Esposito’s Gus Fring to the world of Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) and Mike (Jonathan Banks). This season will see Jimmy’s older brother Chuck bringing trouble for the law firm, trouble that may involve Fring.
Into the Badlands, the Daniel Wu and Aramis Knight-starring martial arts drama, will premiere its second season on Sunday, March 19th at 10 pm. Season 2 has Wu’s Sunny desperate to find his family back in the Badlands and Knight’s M.K. trying to control his powers.
AMC’s new series The Son will premiere on Saturday, April 8th and air concurrently on both AMC and SundanceTV. The series comes from Kevin Murphy and is based on Philipp Meyer’s book of the same name. Meyer also wrote the 10-episode series along with Lee Shipman and Brian McGreevy. The Son is a multi-generational look at the 150-year history of the McCullough family. It stars Pierce Brosnan, Henry Garrett, Sydney Lucas, Carlos Bardem, Zahn McClamon and Jacob Lofland.
