Amazon’s “Hanna” Tv Series Releases Its First Teaser

Joe Wright’s 2011 teen assassin film, Hanna, is finding its way towards a TV platform as the first teaser for the anticipated series features the story’s retracing of footsteps, beginning with the title character’s earliest days. Announced in the first quarter of 2017, the series gained traction quickly as its original version was quite the talk of the town with a 72% rating on RottenTomatoes from critics and a $65.3 million box office run on a mere $30 million budget.

Prime subscribers will be happy to know that the primetime feature is rapidly approaching its release, the premise of the series potentially withholding a possible multi-seasonal series. Attached are the likes of writer David Farr, and featuring a reuniting Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman from their time shared on The Killing. Enos will star in the role of an agent on the hunt for Kinnaman’s daughter, Hanna, played by Esme Creed-mIles.

If subscribers find themselves surprised by the teaser, well that’s a fair reaction as the series’ production has been kept under lock and key since the announcement of the castings. Now, it looks as if Amazon is ready to release the series relatively soon, as the teaser is sure to spark a stir as it features a baby heist. It also goes on to reveal the show’s release date which will be in March. Playing some inside baseball with the original fanbase of the feature-film, Hanna keeps its cards close to the vest here, but the peak in interest surged by the teaser rings the bell for a job well-done.
