The acclaimed, award winning comedy The Marvelous Ms. Maisel is finally returning to Amazon Prime February 18, and will release two episodes every Friday for four weeks. In an attempt to reignite fan fare, Amazon Prime released multiple pieces of key art and a full length trailer.
In a press release from Amazon, the new season will focus on Rachel Brosnahan (House of Cards, Patriots Day) as the titular comedian seeking to “hone her act” as the world moves into the 1960’s. According to the release, Brosnahan’s new gig and new found creative freedom will create a rift between her character and her TV family.
Returning to the show for season four are season regulars and multi-Emmy winners Tony Shalhoub (Monk, Galaxy Quest) as the main character’s enigmatic father, and Alex Borstein (Family Guy, Catwoman) as her short tempered manager and best friend.
