Al Pacino, Logan Lerman Return to ‘Hunters’ Season Two, Teaser Trailer Shows

Prime Video have released a teaser trailer for the second and final season of Hunters, confirming the return of Ali Pacino (The Godfather, Serpico) and Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson & The Olympians, The Perks of Being a Wallflower).  The series takes place in 1977 New York City and follows a troubled young Jewish man bent on revenge as he is taken in by a secret group of Nazi hunters fighting a clandestine war against the cabal of high-ranking Nazi officials in hiding who work to create the Fourth Reich.

Logan Lerman plays main character Jonah Heidelbaum and Al Pacino plays Meyer Offerman, a former Nazi doctor and the series’ overarching antagonist alongside Hitler. In the beginning of the teaser trailer, Nazi war criminal and major antagonist Biff Simpson, played by Dylan Baker (Happiness, Selma), says to Lerman’s Joah Heidelbaum: “Let me live, and I will bring you the biggest prize you could imagine: Adolf Hitler.”

Season one ended with a reveal that Nazi leader Udo Kier was hiding in Argentina with his children, who we see briefly in the teaser trailer confirming his return for season two. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Season two takes place after “an accident derails the Hunters’ exploits in Europe, and they must band back together to hunt down history’s most infamous Nazi, Adolf Hitler, who’s hiding in South America.”

Alongside Pacino and Lerman, the returning cast includes Josh Radnor (How I Met Your Mother, Liberal Arts), Tiffany Boone (Nine Perfect Strangers, Little Fires Everywhere), Carol Kane (The Princess Bride, Addams Family Values), Louis Ozawa (The Bourne Legacy, Predators), Kate Mulvany (The Great Gatsby, The Twelve), and Greg Austin (Mr. Selfridge, Summer of Rockets).

Hunters season one is available to stream on Prime Video, and season two will premiere on January 13.
