Actor Jeremy Strong From Emmy-Winning ‘Succession’ To Star In New Prime Series

From Succession to the Emmys and now beyond; Jeremy Strong (Succession) is back for a new series. According to Deadline, the now-untitled show is set to be a fictional retelling of the events leading up to the infamous crashes of the Boeing 737 Max flights in October 2018 and March 2019. The series aims to highlight various perspectives from different people affected by the events in the leadup and aftermath of the tragedies.

Although it will supposedly aim to tell different angles to the chain of events leading up to the crashes through the views of many characters, the show’s primary focus will be on Strong’s character, who is a composite engineer. The untitled upcoming series, currently under production at Amazon Studios, is projected to be created by Oscar-winning Argo screenwriter Chris Terrio (Argo).

The Boeing 737 Max was globally grounded in 2019 following jet crashes in Indonesia (Lion Air Flight 610) and Ethiopia (Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302), killing every one of the 346 people flying that day.

When completed and ready to premiere, the show will be available for streaming on Amazon Video.
