Deadline has learned that ABC has ordered into production The Alzheimer’s Project. A new comedy originating from the mind of Aaron Kaplan.
The Alzheimer’s Project is based on the original idea from Kaplan about a father with early onset Alzheimer’s trying to reconnect with his family. The show will be written by HBO’s Bored to Death alum Sam Sklaver. Kaplan will executive produce and Sklaver will serve as co-executive producer.
Sklaver is also developing a series through Hulu, entitled Jenny is an Idiot.
