Eliza Coupe, the star of the comedy Happy Endings, will be seen in a new sitcom for USA.
According to Vulture, Benched is created and written by Michaela Watkins and Damon Jones. The show is about a corporate lawyer (character played by Eliza Coupe) who is passed over for a promotion and ends up working as a public defender.
Michaela Watkins is also the star of Trophy Wife, an ABC comedy about a girl who ends up marrying a lawyer she met in a bar.
