The famed actress was just cast to bring the White Rabbit’s wife to life for ABC.
TVLine reported exclusively that Whoopi Golderg will be giving her voice to Mrs. Rabbit in Once Upon A Time In Wonderland, one of ABC’s new shows for this season.
The fifty-seven year old actress – or, at least, her voice – is set to appear in the eighth episode of this third season, and it’s already known that the episode will show a flashback of The White Rabbit’s troubled life.
Mrs. Rabbit is not the first character Whoopi lends her vocal chords to: she’s already played the hyena Shenzi on The Lion King and also the rubber octopus Strech on Toy Story 3, among others.
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m ET on ABC.
