Kristen Schaal and Rich Blomquist have teamed up with TV directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller (21 Jump Street) for American Comedy. The story is about a woman who doesn’t belong in her small town. She becomes popular when she goes on trial for an important murder.
Seth Cohen alongside Seth Cohen will executive produce the comedy. According to Deadline, this is the third sale for Lord Miller in the company. It also has The Last Man on Earth from Will Forteand and Torched from Chris Romano.
