The summer schedule for 2017 on NBC has been set, according to Variety. NBC is slating a lot of reality shows, which are easier to produce and often rake in a large profit (for example NBC’s The Voice). NBC’s summer season begins in early May with World of Dance, and continues with premieres until August 16 with the premiere of Marlon.
The dates and times of NBC’s new and renewed shows are as follows:
Monday May 8, 2017
10 PM – World of Dance
World of Dance is another reality dance competition, this time brought to us by Jennifer Lopez who will be the executive producer and a judge on the show. World of Dance will be unique in that it will allow dance groups of all sizes, from solos to crews, to compete directly against each other in any dance genre for a $1 million grand prize. J-Lo will be judging alongside NE-YO and Derek Hough, says Variety.
