Episode 7 starts with Cat playing piano at The Alcove and having flashbacks of Flint and Ben. Silvermane then enters the club and talks about what happened with the lab. He then tells Lonnie, Flint, and Leyden to cause mischief against the mayor.

We then see Leyden and Flint go to the election office and demand to be brought to the money to take a bunch. We then see Ben at a bar talking to the bartender about Cat. Some people then come in and talk about how the supers were throwing money in the air saying, “Vote for Hudson.” They then start mocking The Spider, which pisses off Ben. He then leaves and puts on the costume, before going in, and beating the ever-loving crap out of the patrons. Robbie then comes into the bar and tells Ben that Janet has him looking all over for him. Ben then shows Robbie the antidote from the doctor, but Robbie snatches the antidote from him, since he doesn’t want Ben to take it (at least not now).

Sitting on a bench, Ben tells Robbie about Cat’s betrayal, and Robbie gives him a pep talk about being a hero, The Spider. They then head back to the office, where Ben tells Janet about what happened with Cat and the laboratory. After a compilation of all the times Ben drunkenly told Janet he’s The Spider, Ben tells Janet and Robbie about his plan to cure the others, and himself. Suddenly, a breaking news report plays on the radio, saying that Silvermane’s gang are in Harlem pillaging a police warehouse, stealing confiscated booze.

At the warehouse, Robbie tries to convince Lonnie that this isn’t him, before The Spider swoops in and, after some fighting, is eventually cured by Robbie. Lonnie, Robbie, and Ben then get out of the warehouse, and head to Robbie’s place. After Lonnie thanks Robbie and Ben and heads off, Chief McNamara tells Mayor Morris about Lonnie, while Silvermane’s men talk to him about the same event. They reveal that The Spider was there, and Lonnie was going to kill him before Robbie jabbed him in the eye with a syringe, which the police and Silvermane’s men managed to retrieve. The Mayor and Silvermane then say to get Ben Reilly in order to find The Spider. 

This was yet again another great episode. The last part was interesting because when Silvermane’s goons, and Cheif McNamara were explaining to Silvermane and the Mayor about the syringe, it was done sort of like a comic book with the different panels. It also had some funny stuff like a drunken Ben not remembering how many times he told Janet he is the Spider.
