The mystery behind how Parker acquired his powers is finally revealed in a flashback sequence during a heist gone wrong. With nowhere to run and the police closing in, Parker is suddenly saved at the last minute by a mysterious hooded man who uses magic to open a doorway for escape. Parker accepts the help, and the two retreat to a restaurant to discuss Parker’s future. The hooded man, later revealed to be Mephisto, sees potential in Parker and offers him a deal—tempting him with wealth and power in exchange for loyalty. Though hesitant, Parker agrees, taking Mephisto’s enchanted cloak and embracing his newfound power. His initial excitement quickly fades as the scene cuts back to the present, revealing the toll the deal has taken on his mind and soul.
Parker later confronts Zeke about Riri’s fate, accusing him of withholding the truth. The tension escalates until Zeke attempts to stab Parker with a fork, only to be stopped by his own programming, which prevents him from harming Parker.
Meanwhile, Riri witnesses the tragic deletion of N.A.T.A.L.I.E. during an attempt to power her Ironheart suit with magic. Desperate to bring her AI companion back, Riri tries to recreate her—without success. Determined, she suits up and heads out to retrieve Parker’s magical hood, hoping it holds the key to restoring N.A.T.A.L.I.E.

As Riri nears Parker, he engages in a heated confrontation with Mephisto, demanding more power. Mephisto, displeased with Parker’s greed, threatens to replace him but offers one last chance—letting him keep the hood a little longer in exchange for loyalty.
Riri and Zeke clash in battle. During the fight, Riri manages to override Parker’s defensive programming within Zeke, breaking his control. Though the fight ends, the tension between them remains, with Zeke expressing lingering resentment for what he’s endured.
The episode builds to an explosive showdown between Riri and Parker. She demands he surrender the hood, but he refuses, laughing in her face as the two engage in a brutal battle across Parker’s home. As the fight intensifies, the hood’s magic begins to corrupt Parker, transforming him into a demonic entity. Though he overpowers Riri briefly, she triggers her suit’s self-destruct as a last resort. The blast fails to stop Parker, who corners Riri at gunpoint—only to discover that he’s been tricked by an advanced hologram. Riri seizes the moment to rip the hood from his body.
As she escapes down the elevator, she’s met by Mephisto, calmly seated at a table. He displays his power by effortlessly removing her Ironheart suit and offers her the same deal he once gave Parker—a partnership to build something iconic. Riri sees flashes of her attempts to revive N.A.T.A.L.I.E., and to her shock, the real Natalie suddenly appears and touches her. Overcome with emotion, Riri embraces her friend—only to discover magical markings creeping up her arm, mirroring those that once corrupted Parker. The episode ends on this chilling note, revealing that Riri made a deal with the devil to bring back her AI version of her friend, only to reveal that he brought back the real Natalie back to life in exchange for her soul.

This was a satisfying conclusion to a Disney+ series that had a rocky start but managed to end on a strong note. While the episode felt a bit rushed—wrapping up multiple storylines in rapid succession—it did an excellent job unraveling the mystery behind Parker and the hood, culminating in the reveal of Mephisto, played brilliantly by Sacha Baron Cohen.
Overall, this finale delivered a compelling mix of emotional stakes, supernatural twists, and character-driven moments. Dominique Thorne gave a standout performance, anchoring the series with depth and vulnerability. Despite its uneven journey, Ironheart sticks the landing, leaving audiences with a thought-provoking and haunting final twist.
