Review: ‘Big Mistakes’ Season 1, Episode 6 “You F–k With My Family, You F–k With Me”

This next episode sees Nicky and Morgan telling Ivan that they don’t know where Yusuf, and Morgan suggests that he was upset about his girlfriend. Ivan tasks Andrei with finding Yusuf, questions Morgan on how she knew this information, and tells the siblings that they might have to come with him to Miami. Nick stands up to Ivan, and the two drive away.

Nicky then tells Linda and Natalie that he is dating Tareq, he’s leaving the church, and he’s going to an event with him, so he’ll be late to the barbecue, leaving Linda ecstatic. Tareq and Nicky try to attend the “Out and Loud” charity event that Tareq organized. At a party, parents keep pushing that Morgan would make a great mom, to which Morgan blurts out that she can’t have kids.

At the barbecue, Natalie informs Linda that Tom Donaldson is at the party. Linda and Tom have a passive-aggressive conversation with each other. Tom brings up Nicky stepping down from the church for his “sex scandal” and says it’s what happens when you grow up in a broken home. This pisses Linda off further, so she proceeds to punch him square in the face.

Max then argues with Morgan about what she said, since she’s just on birth control, and she says that she doesn’t want to turn into those parents. During the argument, Natalie calls Morgan to tell her that Linda punched Tom.

The “Out and Loud” event turns out to be a failure, since the person in charge of the event (Teagen) just took the money and ran. Nicky tries to console Tareq, who admits he should have seen the signs. He then says the reason he went along with this was because their relationship put him back in the closet.

Andrei finds out that Yusuf went back to Istanbul, which pisses off Ivan, leading to a fight. During the fight, the doorbell rings, and it turns out to be Nicky. Nicky tells them he will go to Miami if they help him track down Teagen and get the money back. Nicky then gets a call that Linda is in jail for punching Tom. After being escorted out and giving a speech about Tom and family, Nicky tells Morgan she has to come with him to Miami, and she couldn’t be more grateful to get out of town.

Another episode that wasn’t too bad. The ending on this was quicker like before, but it felt like it fit in a little more, if that makes sense? The episode was still good like the other ones, not too crazy, but good for what it is, and had some funny stuff in it.

I have taken part in the university television station where I was able to act in a show and work behind the scenes. I also have hosted a radio show and have been able to learn the mechanical workings on how the radio shows operate. I have always been interested in different video games growing up and have recently become more interested in movies, film, radio, and screenplay. I have created many characters and have many ideas for different movies, video games, and shows. Besides creating the characters and stories, I believe I would also like to take part in them as well.
