Review: ‘Big Mistakes’ Season 1, Episode 5 “James 4:17”

We start with Yusuf walking through the store to the back, where we see the shipment of different products to the store, and we see the operations of the shop. After this, Max tells Morgan she has company, and it turns out to be Andrei, and Ivan. After Max leaves to get some coffee, Ivan tells Morgan they are all impressed by her work so far, and that they need her to finish a very important job with Yusuf. When Morgan says she wants to talk to Nicky, Ivan and Andrei say that he is not of value, and he’s a liability.

Rose then tells Nicky about the constructive criticism directed toward him from the congregation. Rose then offers to help with a memorial for Mary’s parents that’s happening tomorrow. He says he can handle it but then gets a call and has to head off. While Nicky is outside the truck talking to Mary, Yusuf and Morgan are inside talking about their competency for this job.

The three then drive to the location where they have to buy some cattle from an auction. The auction doesn’t go so well for Morgan, because she accidentally pissed off the auctioneer, so she leaves it to Nicky to help, and prove he isn’t a liability. It still doesn’t work, Yusuf gets pissed off, tasks Nicky with bribing and sweet talking his way into getting the bulls, and he manages to get the bulls for free. Linda and Annette talk about how they found out about Tom Donaldson having prostitutes on his yacht, with Annette no longer endorsing him, instead giving a check to Linda.

At a motel the next morning Morgan reveals that Yusuf was gone, and he left the keys and address for them to finish the job. At first Nicky tells her that he has a church and congregation to worry about but then changes his mind. The two then head to the farm where they learn from Ivan and Andrei that the cows were actually filled with cocaine.

Another decent episode. It might have been about the same as the last one, maybe not as good, but definitely not bad at all. It at most felt a little bit slower than before, but it wasn’t bad. The ending however, did feel a bit quick again, but again it still wasn’t bad. Overall, the show is still good and there hasn’t been an episode that was terrible, or not that great.

I have taken part in the university television station where I was able to act in a show and work behind the scenes. I also have hosted a radio show and have been able to learn the mechanical workings on how the radio shows operate. I have always been interested in different video games growing up and have recently become more interested in movies, film, radio, and screenplay. I have created many characters and have many ideas for different movies, video games, and shows. Besides creating the characters and stories, I believe I would also like to take part in them as well.
