Episode 4 starts with Morgan and Nicky at a strip club that they were sent to by Ivan to get some papers. While Linda is talking with Nicky about how she’s worried for him because he doesn’t have a relationship, and about her debate she’s having soon, we see Morgan and Max in a couple’s therapy session. After an explosive session, Morgan gets a call and has to leave.
Morgan and Nicky then have to go and pick up a stranger from a prison to bring him to the apartment they just rented. When they get there, Morgan is not allowed in because she unknowingly had 6 cases of Four Loko in her trunk, so Nick goes in solo. Next, Linda and Tom have their debate against each other, where Tom again acts like a bit of a dick, even bringing something up that happened with Linda.
While Nicky and Morgan are driving the criminal to the apartment, they get a call from Yusuf. Nicky tells him they have the prisoner and they’re bringing him to the place, but Yusuf, frustrated, tells them they’re not. He goes on to explain that the apartment will not be ready until tomorrow, because somebody asked to have it repainted. During this call, Morgan gets a call from Linda, who says that the debate was a disaster, so they’re having an emergency family dinner, with the prisoner even making a guest appearance at the dinner, who reveals that Nicky picked him up from the prison.
After Max’s unique proposal to Morgan, Linda and the prisoner Andrei end up liking each other quite a bit, even having sex that night. Nicky unfortunately overhears this, and has to call Morgan to explain the situation. Natalie then calls Nicky, and tells him all the different convictions that Andrei has. Nick lies to her that he is gone from the house, and tells Morgan one of the charges.
This episode was definitely something. It might have been one of the best episodes so far. Probably not the best in the whole series of course, and not enough to change the rating, but it is definitely one of the most entertaining thus far, and it had even more good moments in it. The ending again didn’t feel as quick as the first two did. Overall, the episode was pretty good, and a good watch.
