‘Younger’ Releases First Look at its Final Season Coming to Paramount+

Younger fans, rejoice! Paramount+ released the official trailer for the seventh and final season of the Hillary Duff (Lizzie McGuire) and Sutton Foster (Bunheads)-led comedy, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The teaser video hints at the storylines that will bring the long-running series to a close.

According to the trailer, it appears Younger’s seventh season will pick up where the previous season ended, with Charles’s (Peter Hermann, Blue Bloods) marriage proposal to Liza (Foster) — but Josh (Nico Tortorella, The Following) may not be finished vying for Liza’s affection.

Even more insight comes from the season’s synopsis via The Hollywood Reporter: “Liza’s personal life is on shaky ground as she tries to stay true to herself. After a setback at work, Kelsey (Duff) doubts her career decisions and discovers a new creative outlet. Maggie (Debi Mazar, Goodfellas) gets canceled.”

Last year, Younger creator Darren Star (Sex & The City, Emily In Paris) inked development deal with ViacomCBS to continue creating projects for the company. This includes a spinoff of Hillary Duff’s Younger character, Kelsey Peters, that is currently in the works.

The final season of Younger will have 12 episodes. The first 4 episodes of the season will be available early, streaming on Paramount+, beginning April 15. TV Land will air the full season later this year.
