

According to Screen Rant, Yellowstone spinoff The Madison has been renewed for a second season before the first season even premieres, indicating the promise of the first season. Taylor Sheridan’s (1883, 1923) ever-expanding Paramount franchise continues to grow, with multiple Yellowstone spinoffs in the works, including The Madison. Michelle Pfeiffer (The Fabulous Baker Boys, One Fine Day) will lead the series, which will follow a prominent New York family that moves to Montana.
As per Screen Rant, during a Paramount press event during the middle of a major merger, top brass had nothing but praise for Sheridan, who they made clear is the foundation of Paramount+’s streaming output. The new season will be shot in Sheridan’s massive production hub in Texas.
According to Screen Rant, Of Sheridan, execs like Cindy Holland (Luke Cage, Jessica Jones), Paramount’s Chair of Direct-to-Consumer, say, “On Paramount+ today, we have a really great foundation, which is the Taylor Sheridan universe.” Meanwhile, Paramount CEO David Ellison (Top Gun: Maverick, The Tomorrow War) says Sheridan is “a singular genius with a perfect track record.”
As per Screen Rant, Yellowstone follows the Dutton family, who are the owners of the largest ranch in Montana. The series revolves around family drama at the ranch and the bordering Broken Rock Indian Reservation. The Madison is a Yellowstone spinoff series focusing on a New York City family relocating to the Madison River Valley in Montana. Cast of The Madison includes Pfeiffer as Stacy Clyburn, Beau Garett (Tron: Legacy, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer) as Abigail Reese, Patrick J.
