This revival series, written by Beau DeMayo (The Witcher, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, The Witcher: Nightmare Of The Wolf), reintroduces fans to the beloved ’90s era of X-Men, where a group of mutants with extraordinary abilities strive to protect a world that often fears and misunderstands them. According to Deadline, the show has captivated both nostalgic viewers and a new generation of fans. The voice cast for X-Men ’97 features an array of talented actors, including Ray Chase (The Boss Baby, One Punch Man, Baki) as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale (The Powerpuff Girls Movie, Avatar The Last Airbender, Ralph Breaks The Internet), as Jean Grey, Alison Sealy-Smith (Dark Water, Street Legal, Talk To Me), as Storm and Cal Dodd (Spider-Man, Paw Patrol: Ready Race, Goosebumps), as Wolverine.

According to Deadline, their performances have been praised for bringing depth and authenticity to these iconic characters. X-Men ’97 has successfully revitalized a cherished franchise, blending nostalgia with fresh storytelling to captivate audiences worldwide. Its impressive viewership numbers on Disney+ demonstrate the enduring appeal of the X-Men universe and underscore the streaming platform’s ability to deliver high-quality animated content.
