‘We Are Men’ Cut From CBS Lineup, ‘Mike & Molly’ Returns This November

CBS comedy We Are Men, which focuses on young man living in a short-term rental complex with other once-married now single men, has been put on the chopping block of the major network.

The Hollywood Reporter states We Are Men didn’t get much traction out of the gate on its series premiere with these ratings:  2.0 rating among adults 18-49 and 6.6 million viewers, before falling to a 1.8 demo rating and 5.4 million viewers in its second outing.

While the ratings aren’t too bad, We Are Men still hasn’t been teeing up to the rest of CBS’ Monday block for success. 2 Broke Girls recently hit their series low with We Are Men as its lead in.

Mike & Molly on the other hand has just been renewed for another season, but is left off of the schedule for now. It will be joining 2 Broke Girls and Mom.

Mike & Molly will also save the network from what happened last year when no comedy could replace the short-lived Partners, which was removed two months after its 8:30 time slot began.
