Republican Presidential hopeful, Donald Trump is making a return to NBC on The Tonight Show on NBC.
Donald Trump who has had a long standing relationship with the network, had a falling out earlier this year when the network decided to drop him after he made derogatory statements calling Mexicans ” rapists, bringing drugs and crime into the U.S.”
According to The HollywoodReporter, NBC wanted no ties with Trump.
NBC has cut ,”Trump from Celebrity Apprentice, the network also dropped the Miss USA pageant — which instead aired on Reelz Channel on July 12 — as well as the Miss Universe and Miss Teen USA pageants. Both pageants had aired on NBC for the previous 11 years.”
The Hollywood Reporter, also had a interview with Donald Trump. Trump looks at the decision differently than NBC.
According to Trump, “The primary tension I had was that they wanted me to do The Apprentice, and they were very angry that I didn’t do it.”
However, NBC Entertainment chairman spoke differently of Trump and referred to him as a lovely guy.
Trump joins the line up of Presidential hopefuls to appear on the show which includes; Jeb Bush and Bernie Sanders.
The Tonight Shown airs nightly at 11:35pm on NBC.
