Tom Felton will be a series regular on TNT’s new show Murder in the First.
Felton, who got his start in the “Harry Potte”r series, has mostly been a film actor. However, he has been recently making a transition to television. First he had a role in last year’s Labyrinth, as well as appearing in DirectTV’s In the Company of Men and is set to appear in Neil LaBut’s upcoming series Full Circle.
Deadline reports that Felton will be playing Erich Blunt, a cocky CEO who is ludicrously rich and a tech genius. According to Huffington Post, the new mystery series centers on San Francisco detectives Terry Seagrave (Taye Diggs) and Hildy Mulligan (Kathleen Robertson) as they work a complicated murder case.
