Attention all X-Men Fans, Disney+ has dropped an official trailer for the second season of X-Men ’97. We will see how our beloved mutants find a way to return to the 90s.
For those who don’t know, X-Men ’97 continues the story from the original series that debuted back in 1992. In the series we saw, the X-Men deal with their leader’s death, Professor X. Magneto returned to take on the leadership role of the X-Men for a time, however, they had to face Bastion and his army of Prime Sentinels. The fight ended with the X-Men being scattered across time leaving us on a cliffhanger wondering if there will be a way to bring them back. According to the trailer, season two will continue with the team being scattered across different time eras and their struggles to return back to the 90s. However, back in the 90s with the X-Men gone enemies of the X-Men are coming out of the woodwork and Mutant intolerance is on the rise with the X-Men’s absence.

The second season will premiere on July 1, 2026. It’s not too late to watch the first season in order to get caugt up for the main event.
