Deadline reports Nobody Wants This star, Timothy Simons bleached his hair to try something new, which caused a rewrite to be added to his show. Simons was teased by his crew on his Netflix show about his hair being written into the script ahead of the 77th Emmy Awards.
“All the writers saw it that night and wrote it into the show,” he told Deadline. “We’re shooting right now, so there’s no way to hide it. They didn’t tell me to wear a hat.”
Simons added of his new ‘do to Deadline, “Honestly, I love it. I would let it grow all the way out, and it gave me a good excuse to keep it going.”
According to Deadline, Nobody Wants This’s season two finale ends with Ether telling Sasha that she wants to separate to find herself, leaving her ex-husband to panic. Just like any person that might have an mid-life crisis, bleaching his hair seems like something a man on the edge would do, so they wrote it into the script.
Deadline writes that the show began production of season 3 in Los Angeles last month as the creator Erin Foster (Barely Famous, The Darkroom) who joins the cast. Other cast members include Sarah Silverman (Ralph Breaks The Internet, A Million Ways to Die in the West), Andrew Rannells (Big Mouth, The Prom), Keyla Monterroso Mejia (One of Them Days, On My Block Freeridge), Avan Jogia (Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City, Backrooms), Poorna Jagannathan (Never Have I Ever, Wolfs), Sadie Sandler (Just Go with it, Hotel Transylvania), Stephanie Koenig (The Gay and Wondrous Life of Caleb Gallo, The Flight Attendant), and Steven Weber (Chicago Med, Wings).
