According to a press release by AMC+ it has been announced that The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only LIVE, the standing-room-only performance which celebrated the new release of The Vampire Lestat at New York City’s iconic Beacon Theatre last month, will make a streaming debut on AMC+ on Sunday, August 23. The electrifying premiere event features original songs from series composer Daniel Hart and performed by Sam Reid and will be screened for fans in Hall H at Comic-Con International on Friday, July 24.
As per the press release, cast and executive producers from The Vampire Lestat will take the Hall H stage for the first time to reflect on the series’ finale, which premieres Sunday, July 19, on AMC and AMC+. The series is officially certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a perfect 100% critical score.
Created by Anne Rice (The Queen of the Dammed, The Witching Hour) as part of the Immortal Universe, The Vampire Lestat follows Lestat de Lioncourt as he awakens in the 1980s to clear his name after the publication of Louis’s Interview with the Vampire. Lestat is on an electric multi-city tour while he’s haunted by “muses” from his wild and rebellious past. His band gains massive popularity, which increases Lestat’s influence over vampires and humans alike. Interview with the Vampire follows Lestat’s life differently as he is in a toxic relationship with Louis .
