Fox released the first teaser for the upcoming revival series The X-Files, which we reported on in early July. But earlier this week, Fox released new teaser entitled “Ready” according to Variety. The just recently released teaser trailer is the first footage of the show with dialogue between the show’s iconic characters – Mulder and Scully.
The first teaser, “I Want To Believe”, only shows Mulder and Scully’s faces and a few clips of the series. If you haven’t seen the first teaser you can watch it here:
In other X-Files news we have reported on, the show has been making cast additions. Robbie Amell (The Flash), Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under), and Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley) have been added to the show as guest stars. Nanjiani was cast for the third episode of the series, entitled “Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster”. While Amell and Ambrose will guest star in the fourth episode, which is entitled “Babylon”. Also in fun news, Gillian Anderson recently tweeted this photo of the infamous Mulder and Scully:
While they don’t have a lego campaign just yet, the pair is taking part in the revival campaign for the show. The six episode series is set to premiere on January 24, 2016.
