‘The White Lotus’: Official Trailer Welcomes Guests To Thailand In Third Season Of HBO Drama

According to a WBD press release, HBO unveiled the official trailer for its third season of The White Lotus. The Emmy-winning dramedy from Mike White (School of Rock, Despicable Me 4) is a satirical exploration of class and privilege among the haves and the have-nots. Each season is set at a different White Lotus luxury resort, welcoming a new group of hotel guests, hiding their ignorance of race, class, sexism, and sexuality behind wealth. Season one was set in Hawaii, with season two leaping across the Atlantic to Italy. Season three settles in Thailand. View the trailer below.

This season our guests include a trio of longtime girlfriends seeking to be forever young; a couple and their adult children who aren’t the happy family they portray; an aging man and his fountain-of-youth girlfriend; and finally, a familiar face: Natasha Rothwell’s (How to Die Alone, Wonder Woman 84) Belinda Lindsey, a resort masseuse from season one. Like the previous seasons, a murder will shock resort staff and guests across seven days before revealing the culprit.

The new cast members include Walton Goggins (What If…?, Fallout), Parker Posey (Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Lost in Space), Jason Isaacs (Mass, The OA), Carrie Coon (The Gilded Age, His Three Daughters), Leslie Bibb (Juror #2, Law Abiding Citizen), Sarah Catherine Hook (First Kill, Cruel Intentions), Patrick Schwarzenegger (Gen V, The Staircase), Tayme Thapthimthong (Skin Trade, Paradox), Aime Lou Wood (Daddy Issues, Living), Michelle Monaghan (The Family Plan, Pixels), Sam Nivola (White Noise, The Perfect Couple), and Lek Patravadi (In Family We Trust, Grounded God).

Additional cast members include Scott Glenn (Daredevil, Bad Moneky), Nicholas Duvernay (Bel-Air, Purple Hearts), Shalini Peiris (The Ark, 3 Body Problem), Charlotte Le Bon (The Promise, Fresh), Julian Kostov (Shadow and Bone, Creature Commandos), Arnas Fedaravičius (Deadly Cody, The Wheel of Time), Yuri Kolokolnikov (Tenet, 6 Underground), Morgana O’Reilly (Housebound, Inside), and Christian Friedel (The Zone of Interest, Babylon Berlin).

Written and directed by White, the 43-time Emmy-nominated series was renewed for a fourth season last week with ideas being shopped since November. Season three of HBO’s The White Lotus premieres on Sunday, February 16 at 9 p.m. ET.
