After months of waiting, we finally get a brief look at Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in the upcoming The Walking Dead trailer for the season 6 finale. A Dutch TV station released the trailer for the upcoming season finale which will air on April 3 even though we shouldn’t have seen it until after this week’s episode.

Our earlier theory that Negan will wait until the season finale to make his entrance seems to be holding true. And, unfortunately, it looks like, while the finale will mark the beginning of Negan’s arc on the show, it may also mean the end for another character.
In the trailer, we get a much better look at Lucille, Negan’s weapon of choice. The barbed-wire-covered baseball bat we see in the trailer could be a very bad sign for one of our heroes.
According to HNGN, Spoil the Dead supposedly leaked some spoilers for the finale of The Walking Dead season 6. If the rumors are true, the finale will show Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Glenn (Steven Yeun), and Daryl (Norman Reedus) captured by the Saviors, Negan’s thugs. Furthermore, supposedly one of them will die at Negan’s hands in the last seconds of the finale. Word is the final moments of The Walking Dead will show Negan swinging Lucille at one of the captives, the camera will switch to the victim’s point of view, and then, well, that’s it. Since the final shot will be from a character’s perspective, we won’t actually know who dies (or is presumed dead) until the beginning of season 7. It looks like we may have another Jon Snow-type cliff-hanger.
Of course, the rumors could be false, but whether one of our heroes dies this season or next, Negan’s entrance on the show means more death. But as far as what the finale will bring, we will just have to wait until April 3 to find out.
