As the chilling saga of Netflix’s supernatural series, Stranger Things prepares for its grand finale, the series creators, the Duffer Brothers teased that the season will featured its most violent death yet. Reported by Screenrant, Ross (Hidden, Wayward Pines) and Matt Duffer (Vessel, Eater) spoke in an interview with The Times discussing the differences in the action in this season compared to previous seasons.,”I would say season five is not as violent as season four, but it has the most violent death of any season.”

According to Screenrant, the show has never shied away from brutality with some examples being Chrissy Cunningham, played by Grace Van Dien (V for Vengeance, The Fix), who was tortured and psychically killed by Vecna, played by Jamie Campbell Bower (The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, Witchboard) or the heroic sacrifice by Eddie, played by Joseph Quinn (Quiet Place: Day One, Fantastic Four: First Steps). The stakes on the finale have never been any higher.

Stated by Screenrant, Ross goes on to reveal, that they tried to restrain themselves from doing anything savage for the upcoming season, as some scenes were shown to be by Netflix such as back it in the first season where the dinner owner, Benny, played by Chris Sullivan (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, The Knick) was shot in the head. The brother states about the stress they have on perfecting the final season so it wouldn’t fall into the hall of worst tv finales, in which Matt further states,”every character’s ending needed to feel right. That was more important than providing the fans with the ending they’re hoping for.

Stated by Screenrant, the first volume of Stranger Things is set release next week on November 26, the second volume for December 25 and the finale for December 31. While waiting on the release all previous seasons are available to stream on Netflix.
