Subsequent installments will air every Friday at the stroke of midnight on the Starz app, all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms. According to Deadline, The enthralling saga is also going to be available to international audiences on the deluxe streaming platform of Lionsgate+, situated in the U.K. and Ireland. The program will kick off airing on linear television at 8 p.m. in the U.S. and Canada via Starz.
The program makes a comeback to Southside Jamaica, Queens subsequent to the season two climax, with the household experiencing great disturbance and bewilderment due to the organized assault by the Mob on Raquel (Patina Miller), Marvin (London Brown), and Lou-Lou (Malcolm Mays), while emotions run rampant and the risks escalate even further.

Throughout the past two seasons of Raising Kanan, Kanan Stark, portrayed by Mekai Curtis (Kirby Buckets), has undergone a gradual realization of both his own identity and his mother’s truths. This challenging journey has taken its toll not only on him but also on those around him. Every new disclosure of his family’s web of secret and lies has forced Kanan to confront reality with progressively diminishing illusions. In the upcoming season three, Kanan must grapple with existential dilemmas that shake the foundations of his morals, such as fidelity and disloyalty, good and evil, and right and wrong. His family members, including Marvin attempting redemption, Raq finally confessing, Lou struggling with evil, and Jukebox aiming to escape their family’s pathology, face similarly personal challenges. While some may arrive at the destination and realize the most unnerving truth that there are no absolute rights or wrongs or good or evil, only one’s self.

Omar Epps (Juice), London Brown (American Soul), Malcolm Mays. (Snowfall), Hailey Kilgore (Our Town), Joey Bada$$ (Mr Robot), Shanley Caswell (iCarly), and Antonio Ortiz (illegal Tender) also co-star in Raising Kanan. Raising Kanan is the second sequel series in the extended Power Universe franchise and is executive produced by Sascha Penn (Creed II) and Courtney A. Kemp (The GoodWife), who is also the creator and showrunner of the original Power, through her production company End of Episode. G-Unit Film and Television’s Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Atmosphere Entertainment MM’s Mark Canton (Escape Plan) are also executive producers of the series.
