‘Hannah Montana’ Actor Mitchel Musso Arrested in Texas for Alleged Theft and Public Intoxication

Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana star Mitchel Musso was arrested in Texas this past Saturday. According to CNN, Musso was arrested in Rockwall for alleged public intoxication and alleged theft.

Police got a call from a “disturbance at a hotel located in the 2600 Block of Lakefront Trail in Rockwall, TX.” Police then arrived at the scene and determined that Musso was allegedly under the influence. “Upon arrival, officers contacted the complainant who advised an individual who appeared intoxicated entered the hotel, selected a bag of chips, and began eating them,” police told CNN. The ex-Disney star was then asked to pay for the chips but refused to pay and became “verbally abusive and left without rendering payment,” police added. When police spoke to him outside, he was then taken into custody upon the discovery of other outstanding warrants. He then spent a single night in jail and was released on a $1,000 bond this past Sunday afternoon.

“A routine records check also revealed Mr. Musso had several outstanding traffic warrants out of the Rockwall Police Department. He was transported to the Rockwall County Detention Center where he was booked in for the charges,” reports CNN.

As stated above, this was not Musso’s first run-in with the law. Back in 2011, he was arrested for driving under the influence and with that, also violated a promise to appear in court. Other warrants for his arrest include a refusal to display a driver’s license and an expired registration.

Musso played the main character of Oliver Oken on Hannah Montana, one of Hannah’s best friends. He also starred in Hannah Montana: The Movie, Phineas and Ferb, hosted Prankstars on Disney Channel, and starred in Pair of Kings on Disney XD.

TMZ was able to obtain the mugshot of Musso and released it via PopCrave on Twitter. As of now, no comments have been released from Musso’s representatives.
