The Misfits Have Arrived: First Episode Of Critical Role’s Beloved Series, ‘The Mighty Nein’, Takes To The Screen Early On YouTube

The wait is over! Critical Role fans around the world are celebrating as the animated adaptation of their beloved campaign two, The Mighty Nein has just released their first episode, which is free to watch now. According to mxdwn, the series centers around group of misfits who come together to prevent the powerful artifact known as the Beacon from destroying the realm. Additionally, this series will feature a darker atmosphere compared to its predecessor, The Legend of Vox Machina.

Mxdwn reports,  the series will focus on Travis Willingham (Avengers Aseemble, Full Metal Alchemist) as Fjord, half-orc warlock/paladin, Laura Bailey (Soul Eater, Fruits Basket) as Jester, tiefling cleric, Liam O’Brien (Naruto Shippuden, Tiger & Bunny) as Caleb, a human wizard, Sam Riegel (Blue Excorsist, K: Missing Kings) as Nott, a goblin rogue,Marisha Ray (Exandria Unlimited, Candela Obscura) as Beau, a human monk,  Taliesin Jaffe (4-Sided Dive, DearS) as Kingsley, tielfling blood hunter and Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us, Ben 10:Ultimate Alien) as Yahsha, an aasimar barbarian.

Matt Mercer (Sakmoto’s Day, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean) will be expected to voiced not only major characters, but also some NPCs throughout the series.

Reported by mxdwn, along with the main cast, the series will have a wave of quest stars helping to bring the series to life. Some of the famous names that will be lending their voices include Alan Cumming (Spy Kids, X2), Auli’i Cravalho (Moana, Mean Girls), and Mark Strong (Cruella, Sherlock Holmes).

The first episode will provide fans with a preview of the upcoming journey, as they await the release of The Mighty Nein, which is set to premiere on November 19 on Prime Video, the first three episodes will be available for streaming on that date.
