The Leaked Titans Image Confirms Some Long-Time Fan Expectations

The latest season of the Titans leaked another teaser image from the original season, and it has loyal fans restless after seeing what it illustrated. The official reveal featured an image of Nightwing in the supersuit, proving long-time fan theories that the character was schemed from the very beginning. Unveiling him now in the season 2 finale simply means that they’ll have to wait even longer for when the third season finally airs with Nightwing, but that’s the reality that fans will have to face.

Nightwing aka Dick Grayson is the popular fan favorite and his transformation from the original Robin has always been teased on screen. With the season 2 finale officially making it clear, fans can rejoice that the hero’s evolution is making it’s way on the big screen. Now joining the ranks of heroes confronting long-time villain, Deathstroke, the new suit looks like something pulled out of the original comics. In fact, most of it is a faithful adaptation: his escrima staves, mask, and outlined suit pay tribute to his character.

According to some sources, the image is allegedly a scraped one that didn’t make the cut for the first season. Along with Nightwing, the Starfire custome was also something that was supposed to debut last year, but it looks as if the creators had other plans for the show. It goes without question, but fans are understandably curious about the “what if” and how the show would have turned out in the original timeline.

Still, Titan showrunner Greg Walker made the sentiment clear in the past that he was satisfied with how things turned out. As fans, we can only respect their decision and hope things truly did turn out for the best, even if the wait will continue to be painful. In addition, Walker made it evident that the journey to this point would make Dick’s leap to the new suit all the more sweet.
