Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Daredevil won’t be the only characters crossing over in The Defenders.
Comicbookmovie.com reports that Netflix and Marvel’s major upcoming crossover series The Defenders has started to round out its supporting cast, bringing in characters from previous Netflix/Marvel series. Though supporting characters are being brought in from all four series, it is not clear how big of a part each character will actually have.
The one unsurprising addition is Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple, a character that will have appeared in all of the Marvel/Netflix shows by the time The Defenders premieres. From Daredevil the crossover series has added Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page, Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson, and Scott Glenn’s Stick. Coming to The Defenders from Jessica Jones are Carrie-Anne Moss’ Jeri Hogarth, Eka Darville’s Malcolm Ducasse, and Rachael Taylor’s Trish Walker. Also joining the series are Luke Cage‘s Misty Knight, played by Simone Missick, and Iron Fist‘s Colleen Wing, played by Jessica Henwick.
The Defenders follows NYC superheroes Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) as they team up to save the city from an unknown villain set to be played by Sigourney Weaver. The first season is scheduled to premiere in 2017.
