Production of Prime Video’s highly anticipated and upcoming Tomb Raider series has hit setback with the team having to hit the pause button regarding its lead actor. Reported by Screenrant, the news has surprised fans worldwide, who have already seen the first-look image of Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones, X-Men: Apocalypse) sporting the iconic Croft attire, which consists of red shades, teal tank top and brown shorts. The main plot of the series will surely follow the same format as the first game, in which Lara traverses dangerous temples, preserving priceless artifacts and fighting shadowy organizations.
Reported by Screenrant, Prime Video spoke with Entertainment Weekly giving good news surrounding Turner’s condition.”Sophie Turner recently experienced a minor injury. As a precaution, production has briefly paused to allow her time to recover. We look forward to resuming production as soon as possible.”

Fans will also see Turner reunited with Kit Harrington (How to Train Your Dragon 2, The Eternals), but this time they won’t being playing siblings, but old friends to lovers.
