Ahead of its premiere next month, Prime Video’s Gen V released new character descriptions via an official press release. Gen V is a spinoff of the critically acclaimed anti-hero superhero series, The Boys. New official key art was also released with the character descriptions. View the art below.
In the same world as Homelander and Billy Butcher, Gen V explores the life and times at Godolkin University, the lone college for super-powered young adults training to become lucratively paid superheroes. In addition to the growing pains on a college campus, these students discover a sinister plot beneath the surface of their dorm rooms. What are they willing to sacrifice for a passing grade?
According to the Prime Video press release, the series stars Jaz Sinclair (When The Bough Breaks) in the lead role of Marie Moreau. A freshman at the Vought-run campus, her ability to weaponize blood makes her an exemplary pupil eager to join The Seven someday. But she becomes distracted when she delves into the growing mystery on campus grounds.
Chance Perdomo of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina portrays Andre Anderson, a junior at Godolkin with the power of magnetism. He is a legacy student as his father was the famous superhero, Polarity. Andre is expected to pick up the mantle with his father seeking retirement soon. When he discovers something is amiss at school, he takes the initiative to get to the bottom of it.
Sean Patrick Thomas (Reasonable Doubt) will play Andre’s father, Polarity. A university trustee and alumnus, he expects his son to take on the Polarity name and a seat with The Seven.

Jordan has the rare ability to take both a male and female form, each possessing different power sets. As a male, Jordan is indestructible; while presenting as female, they are light as a feather with the ability to throw energy blasts. Jordan and Andre’s good friend, Cate Dunlap, is played by Maddie Phillips (Teenage Bounty Hunters). Dunlap is a junior and has the power to push people to do her bidding with the touch of her hands. Using this to her advantage, Maddie is one of the most popular students in school and is dating Luke Riordan aka Golden Boy.
Golden Boy is played by Patrick Schwarzenegger (Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse). The senior is not only Andre’s best friend but the big man on campus with the ability to light his body ablaze. He’s the top prospect to join The Seven upon graduation.
