‘The Blacklist’ Sets New DVR Record

Hugely successful since the pilot aired, the new NBC show set yet another DVR record.

As reported by Deadline, this is the second DVR record The Blacklist breaks, becoming the first show to ever add more than six millions viewers to its ratings due to playback over on the seven days after its release.

The show  got 11.4 million viewers on its premiere and quickly jumped to 17.9 million for its first full seven days. The record was set by the second episode of the show, titled The Freelancer.

It seems like the show was a very nice bet from NBC and although it is still early to say, the show is almost sure to get a renewal if its ratings keep up.
