In the upcoming January 14 episode of Night Court, Melissa Rauch (The Big Bang Theory, Family Guy) channels her inner Six, a character on a hit 90’s TV show named Blossom, alongside Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory, Blossom) who played the titled character. In Night Court, Rauch stars as Judge Abby Stone, who meets Bialik in a special guest appearance.

As previously reported by TVLine, this revival of the NBC sitcom brings The Big Bang Theory stars Rauch and Bialik back together for a hilarious storyline. Bialik plays an exaggerated version of herself as a defendant, befriending Abby Stone, a huge fan of Bialik’s iconic role in Blossom. In a fun nod to the past, the two even recreate the iconic pose from the Blossom opening credits. However, things quickly take a turn when Abby discovers that Mayim has been stalking her.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bialik explained that the episode, titled “Mayim Worst Enemy,” will feature “meta references” to the series. This means that the world of Night Court exists where both Abby Stone and Rauch live, much like how The Big Bang Theory referenced Bialik before casting her as Amy. According to TVLine, “Things take a turn when Abby learns that Mayim is stalking her,” adding a twist of suspense to the comedic plot.

This marks Night Court’s second The Big Bang Theory reunion in two seasons. In the previous season, Kunal Nayyar (The Big Bang Theory, Criminal: UK) appeared as a world-renowned fashion designer named Martini Toddwallis. Additionally, Bialik and Rauch’s Night Court co-star, John Larroquette (Night Court, The John Larroquette Show), reunites with Bialik, having played her father, on The John Larroquette Show.

The Jan. 14 episode promises plenty of laughs, nostalgia and The Big Bang Theory references that fans of both shows won’t want to miss.
