Peaky Blinders, the gang drama from BBC will be renewed for season two.
The story takes place in Birmingham after World War I and shows Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) leading the Peaky Blinders band. The name comes from the members habit of sewing razor blades so they can use them as weapons.
Peaky Blinders just ended its first season with six episodes, and BBC has announced that the series will have another season with the same number of episodes. According to Indiewire, Steven Knight, the creator and writer of the series, said “I am so pleased we will be able to continue to tell this story of a working class family living through extraordinary times in an extraordinary way. The ‘Peaky Blinders’ will march on to many surprising places and fight astonishing battles as the 1920s begin to roar.”
The first season stars Sam Neil, Annabelle Walls, Helen McCrory and Iddo Goldberg.
