Amazon reveals new series in development and cast for Werewolf Hunter. Taylor Lautner (Twilight) is cast as the lead in the show ready to make his comeback to Hollywood.

Revealing quite the plot, show runner Daisy Gardner (World’s Dumbest) shares the log line in an article with Variety.   “After wrapping the final Twilight film, Taylor Lautner vanished from the spotlight. Fans speculated, tabloids theorized—but the truth is wilder than fiction. Taylor wasn’t just taking a mental health break. He was preparing for his real calling… Taylor Lautner: Werewolf Hunter. Playing himself, Taylor is drawn into a secret society of werewolf trackers who need his unique expertise. As he navigates his double life—Hollywood actor by day, supernatural warrior by night—Taylor must wrestle with the ultimate irony: fighting the very creatures that made him famous. Between saving the world, reviving his career, and falling in love, he faces the ultimate question—what happens when your biggest role becomes your greatest enemy?” 

With the unexpected reveal, fans highly anticipate the release date of the show. With a plot like this, it will surely catch the eye of viewers. Lautner took a break from the fantasy side of Hollywood after his most famous work The Twilight Saga. The onboarding of Lautner no doubt excited Twilight fans to see their werewolf return to action. 

Werewolf Hunter is one of the first Prime Video original fantasy shows. Prime will dive deeper into a new genre and learn a different world of entertainment. Not only does the cast attract Lautner fans but given the plot, Amazon can expect to see Twilight supporters return for the continuation of their favorite werewolf.

In addition to Amazon not only reveling the cast, the company revealed also part of the crew. Set to direct the series is Matthew Bettinelli-Olpin (Abagail ) joined by Tyler Gillett (Abigail) who will also executive produce the series. Fans are ready to see a great show come to life with such a cast and crew.
