Supernatural Spinoff May Be Coming to The CW

The CW is still hoping to make a spinoff of Supernatural according to The Hollywood Reporter.

President of the network, Mark Pedowitz, said “We believe that there’s a real brand in Supernatural,” when asked if he would attempt another offshoot with the characters from Supernatural.

The network already passed on the pilot Supernatural:Bloodlines which introduced new characters despite decent ratings (2 million live plus same day).

“We had six really good pilots this year. We felt that Supernatural [spinoff Bloodlines] just didn’t quite get there, though we do know that people would come to it based on what we saw that night,” Pedowitz said. “I’ve already spoken to the creator and the studio. They know that we want to develop once more next season, a Supernatural spinoff. What it is and what it isn’t yet is still in the air.”

More detailed discussions of the spinoff, which would be the networks third spinoff (The Flash, The Originals), will take place in June or July, according to Pedowitz.
