On Saturday Wired reported that “next year, TV will add Arrowverse shows with Superman, Stargirl, Booster Gold, and Green Lantern.”
Currently “Crisis on Infinite Earths“ is occurring on CW which is a crossover event involving many DC Characters and TV Shows including Superman. The DC Arrowverse currently consists of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman.
All four of the new DC TV shows are expected to air in 2020.
Superman has appeared twice previously in the Arrowverse. Originally he was played by Tyler Hoechlin on Supergirl and on the “Crisis” crossover he was played by Brandon Routh who played Superman in the movie Superman Returns. It was teased previously that a Superman & Lois Lane Show is coming to CW.
Stargirl is another new TV show coming to the DC Universe streaming service and CW network television.
The show will follow high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore who discovers a powerful cosmic staff and that her step-father used to be a hero sidekick. DC Universe announced that they are producing a first season consisting of thirteen episodes.

The pilot is set to be written by Geoff Johns who will executive produce alongside Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter.
A Booster Gold CW TV show is also in the works. Booster Gold is a DC Universe comic book character from the future who knows the outcome of historical events. Originally he was arrogant and glory seeking, but now he has developed more as a character and is a member of the Justice League. He appeared previously on the Justice League TV show and it was rumored that he was going to be written into Legends of Tomorrow.
Lastly a Green Lantern TV show is being produced. Green Lantern appeared before on the Justice League TV show. Green Lantern also had a feature film written by Greg Berlanti who is also writing the new show.
