According to Deadline, he continued to sing her praises as an educator who helped them through their high school years. If Ross’ post is any indication, fans partially have to thank the drama teacher for Stranger Things.
“High school was rough for me and my brother,” Duffer continued. “But Hope saw something in us we didn’t see in ourselves — and she helped give us the confidence to not only survive those four years, but to move to LA and chase our dreams.” via Deadline.
He then concluded the caption by emphasizing the importance of teachers as a positive influence in students’ lives. “Shoutout to all the teachers out there making a difference. And please… let’s prioritize the arts in schools. ✌” via Deadline.
Spoiler warning for the paragraph below.
Deadline has reported that Hope Hyne’s Love debuts as a character. Ms. Harris is first introduced when she notices Holly Wheeler speaking to Mr. Whatsit, who, from her perspective, is nothing more than an imaginary friend. After informing the Wheelers of Holly’s mysterious conversations, Mike and Nancy eventually discover that he is none other than Henry or as he is more commonly known, Vecna. After this, she is the caretaker for Holly’s classmates when they are taken by the military.
According to Deadline, the next two volumes of season five will be released on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. Both will receive both a streaming debut and a limited theatrical run.
