According to Deadline, Starz has announced that season two of Shining Vale will premiere on October 13 on the linear network at 9 p.m. ET/PT in the U.S. and Canada and at midnight ET on all Starz on-demand and streaming services, the Starz app, and on Lionsgate+ streaming platforms in Ireland and the U.K. Season one of the series premiered on March 6, 2022.
Shining Vale stars Courtney Cox (Friends, Scream) as Pat, Greg Kinnear (Stuck in Love, Little Miss Sunshine) as Terry, Gus Birney (Darcy, The Mist) as Gaynor, Dylan Gage (Fear Street Part Two: 1978, PEN15) as Jake, Mira Sorvino (At First Sight, Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion) as Rosemary, Merrin Dungey (Malcom in the Middle, The King of Queens) as Kam, Alysia Reiner (Orange is the New Black, Equity) as Kathryn, Susan Park (The Mick, Vice Principals) as Valerie, Parvesh Cheena (Outsourced, Tie the Knot) as Laird, and James M. Connor (Lopez, Vice Principals) as Dr. Berg.
Season two will also feature Sherilyn Fenn (Twin Peaks, Boxing Helena), Judith Light (Ugly Betty, One Life to Live), and Allison Tolman (Good Girls, Fargo).
The series is co-created by Sharon Horgan (Bad Sisters, Catastrophe) and Jeff Astrof (In-Laws, Trial & Error). It is executive produced by Horgan and Clelia Mountford (There She Goes, Motherland) for Merman, Astrof for Other Shoe Productions, Melanie Frankel (They’re with Me, Book Club) and Aaron Kaplan (The Chi, The Neighbors) for Kapital Entertainment. Cox serves as a producer of the series.
Season two of Shining Vale follows Pat and Terry as they struggle with reconnecting their broken family, trauma, menopause, and mental illness while their Connecticut home reveals even more of its haunted past. Pat and Terry have to battle both their internal and external demons, and Rosemary is back lurking in the shadows.
