Stars Of ‘The Boys’ Can’t Wait To Appear On ‘Gen V’ Season Two

According to Comicbook, stars of Prime Video’s The Boys are very eager to appear in the second season of the series spin-off, Gen V. Karen Fukuhara (Suicide Squad) and Erin Moriarty (Captain Fantastic), who play Kimiko and Starlight in The Boys respectively, recently discussed appearing in season two of the college action series during a comic convention.

Fukuhara said, “Yes, I’ve already talked to Eric Kripke (Supernatural) about it. I don’t know how, but I think Frenchie and Kimiko need to make an appearance somehow. I mean, they must be on a mission somewhere in that world, right?”

“First of all, hell yes, I would love to be in Gen V,”  Moriarty said via Comicbook. “But second of all, I’m all for, like–Eric Kripke is gonna sprinkle in those characters, not just cause. Not just to get people to watch it. It’s never going to be arbitrary. It’s going to be purposeful, right? And I just hope that some characters follow suit, perhaps with either the vigilante component and like sticking it to the man or something Starlight-esque where they rebel in a similar way…”

Gen V received a vast amount of praise after its premiere. The series is a spin-off of The Boys that also featured very known characters from the series such as  A-Train, The Deep, Adam Bourke, Love Sausage, Madelyn Stillwell, Ashley Barrett, and Vanessa. The premise of the series follows students of Godolkin University, the premiere school for supes. As young adults compete against one another for the university’s top ranking and a  chance to join The Seven, they uncover a conspiracy that threatens the lives of each pupil enrolled in the Vought-backed institution.

All seasons of The Boys as well as the first season of Gen V are available to stream on Prime Video. Another spin-off of The Boys named The Boys: Mexico is also in the works. The fourth installment of The Boys is scheduled to hit the streamer in 2024.
